Camp Schloss Buldern  Have you ever wanted to live like a grand duke or duchess? Then camp Buldern
is for you! In the picturesque town of Buldern in Westfalen, you will experience
a summer camp like no other in a real German castle. We are so proud of the fact
that for more than sixteen years we have had successful Easter and summer camps
in a truly enchanting place.
 The opportunity to learn languages is definitely a possibility here. You will
meet other campers from all over the world. Half of all of the campers come from
continents other than just Europe. Can you imagine sharing a room with a camper
from Brasil, Mexico or the United States?
This location has everything a camper could dream of. For example Buldern offers super gear for loads of trend sports, high tech equipment for computer geaks, incredible day trips to one of Germanys greatest amusement parks and a beautiful setting with a park to help enjoy many of the leisure time activities. With an incredible amount of activity options, an international feel, and living like royalty, a camper is sure to have the time of their life at Camp Buldern! Our week is spent enjoying all the castle has to offer. We stay in the castle
and in an adjacent building. Our one and two-bedded rooms give you the feel of
a traditional German setting.
In the adjacent building you will find our camps office, the computer room with internet access, our German and English classrooms and the arts and crafts room. Meal time is a memorable one. We eat in a beautiful library inside of the castle. With a delicious buffet of food in the morning and at dinner, and a warm lunch, you will be sure to not go hungry. You will definitely want to take part in movie night and the disco. Both take place in the old horse barn next to the castle. Not only can you participate in some serious soccer matches, you can also play
a game of basketball on the courts. There is truly something for everyone. Everything
from archery to crate climbing. The open park directly beside the castle leaves
a lot of room to run, play and explore!
International Royal Family All campers are supervised by the dedicated staff on and off the fields - day and night. We are aware of the big responsibility we have for each child we take care of. There is a 6 to 1 camper to counselor ratio. The counselors are selected for their special talents, creativity, exceptional leadership skills and natural sensitivity for young children and teenagers. It is our central aim to provide a happy, safe and creative atmosphere in which the children and teenagers play the primary role. Campers from all over the world meet at Schloss Buldern. What does a Mulit-Activity Program really mean? It means, that at camp Buldern
you will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of different activities
and programs every day. You just have to wake up and meet at our meeting point.
Our staff will present to you all of the activities we offer you that day and
then the best part is you decide what you want to do. This allows you to live
spontaneously at camp. Everyday you have the opportunity to try something new
or stick with what you like...you decide!

DAY TRIP IN HOLLYWOODThe absolute special highlight at Schloss Buldern is our day trip to the famous "Movie Park”. Hollywood becomes alive at Movie Park!
Everybody loves this amazing day out at Movie Park! The best part...no extra costs! This excursion is included in the camp price! The "Bandit"
Special event: "Bandit" – Experience breathtaking acceleration and unbelievable centrifugal forces!
"The Bandit", built especially for you thrill seekers, is the first ever German
wood roller coaster modeled after the traditional American roller coaster.
This is also a great day out for our "Campinis"!
Movie World is "heaven" for our 6 to 9 year-olds as well. The "Campinis" will love shaking hands with their cartoon heroes or swirling around in big tea cups on a thundering railway. For many campers, reagardless of age, the coolest part of the rides and shows is the fantastic ICE AGE ADVENTURE! Of course, our loyal staff is always there with the "Campinis" to ride on the Marienhof Carousel or sit back and enjoy the 4-D Sponge Bob cinema. CAMPini PROGRAM Parents who would like to give their "minis” the possibility to experience holidays
without mom and dad will find our "CAMPini" program a special one. You can feel
confident that your little ones are in the best hands at camp Buldern.
As you would expect, we take our job very serious and are highly conscious of
the safety and welfare issues connected with this age group. Our trained counselors
are always there. We have specially picked our "Campini" counselors with the critical
eye of a parent and the heart of a child. Our counselors sleep on the same floor
of the "Campinis" and are always there for any problems, questions or of course
a good laugh!
Adventure Rally + Airbrushing + Archery
LANGUAGE COURSESOne of our main aims at Schloss Buldern is the provision of educational holidays
for international students wishing to combine German or English as a foreign language
with tons of fun activities. Its easy...just sign up! The classes can be booked
as an add-on to the daily "multi-activity" program. With classes between 6 and
12 students, everyone is sure to get the personal attention they deserve to truly
help learn a new language.
German "German as a Foreign Language" is a 15 hours per week immersion into the German language run by experienced native speaking German teachers. We guarantee individual challenging levels and tasks for each participant. Over the past years we hosted a lot of children from various countries such as Brazil, the USA, Venezuela, Spain, Sweden, Russia, Portugal, Canada and Turkey. Most of them reported that they made good progress regarding their speaking ability because of the time they spent with German children. Even if they lacked some vocabulary, they said that there had not been any problems in communicating. English Youngster The Youngster course is ideal for students with one or two years of English experience. Aim of this course is to extend existing vocabulary and to strengthen your grammar knowledge through learning new songs and playing games. Participants will learn even more everyday vocabulary that they can practice straight away with their fellow campers. Learning by doing is the magic key for motivation and success! English Junior This Junior course is ideal for students with three to five years of English experience. Different course levels will be determined after the evaluation of a test at camp. We realise at school you focus on new vocabulary and grammar, so at camp it is time to put all of that knowledge to use. There is a lot of conversation in this course to help break the language barrier. Of course our grammar studies will help to strengthen the current knowledge and the most important tenses will be repeated. However, we still promise that our teachers will find creative ways to make learning English fun at camp. Please make note that each term is a one week session, but you have the option to book more than one term at both Easter and Summer. If you would like to stay two weeks in Easter, or two, three, four or five weeks in Summer, just let us know at time of booking. Either drop off and pick up your child directly at camp or choose our airport
pick-up service. In the table below you will find the charges for this service.
All prices are calculated for a single journey incl. check-in. If friends/siblings
(up to three persons) are booked on the same flight, costs for pick-up will be

Every Thursday all campers take a bus trip to Bottrop-Kirchhellen to enjoy this
amazing funpark. For all of those risk takers out there, try "The High Fall".
At a height of 60 meters and a speed of 90km/h, you are sure to feel the air blow
through your hair. If speed isnt for you, visit Miss Patricias Tree House. The
"Mini Free Fall Tower" is only four meters high. Thrilling rides with loops at
an altitude of 30 metres, "Free Fall Tower" and mysterious boat rides into the
"Bermuda Triangle" are only a few of the attractions waiting for you.
